i want a legitimate reason they can't apply to wear those permanently. do something good for once in your [expletive] life ricketts.

You feel this way because you live in the 2010's. If you lived in the 1920's you would be pining for really cool uniforms from the 1870's.

No, I feel this way because the uniforms are a legitimately awesome design.

I'm not sure why I'm admitting this as it shows how little I've actually watched the Cubs the last 2 years but until just now I thought Jake Arrieta was black.

Between the two balls to the warning track in the Villanueva start at Miller Park and the hitting the top of the wall the last few days, Castro is about a cumulative 10 ft from having 8 or 9 bombs already.

Arrieta's stuff is there and he's not walking anybody. He's still leaving way too many balls up, but he can be effective-ish like this.

My optimism is creeping up.

It's really shocking how few K's he normally gets. His curveball and cutter/slider have electric movement.

I'll give Lake this much, he doesn't make contact well, but he often hits the crap out of it when he does.

Lake takes every swing like he's trying to crush a fastball down the middle. When he gets one, it's beautiful.

He wishes. I wishes.

true....I got a little flush just thinking about Hills rooftop shot. Lake has never done that for me
