Bailey said that Edwards will be shut down 3-4 weeks and probably won't be back at AA until July.

I'm ok with it if he ends up only missing 3-4 weeks.

3 to 4 weeks is like Memorial day, which is still a solid 5 weeks from July. The former is fine, the latter is approaching a half season down the drain. I'm not going to extrapolate about how bad that is for his future, but him missing the better part of half the season certainly is disappointing.

So Baez and vogelbach suck. Soler is dead possibly. Almora sucks and missed time with a nosebleed????? Edwards is gonna miss 2 months with shoulder problems. What am I missing?

Bryant has great stats but is also striking out a metric ton at AA. But it's probably nothing to worry about because good stats with high Ks at AA never turns disastrous.

Well, to be fair, there are still some bright spots left:

Kris Bryant

Rob Zastryzny (peripherals are very good)

Daury Torrez

Ivan Pineyro

Jen-Ho Tseng

Armando Rivero

You could throw in Amaya, Hernandez, and Balaguert too but their babip is kind of insane.

If you're referring to Almora's missed time this past week, he was out because his dad was in the hospital.

He's not a bright spot anymore. Strikes out too much (even though his BB-rate is much higher than it was at A+ and his K-rate is even with his A+ strikeout rate, all in more PAs.)

That's [expletive] crazy talk. Don't let Kyle's doom bonkers sway you.
