Abuck's comment succinctly summed up the danger of the Cubs plan.

And just about every other team's plan that isn't spending over $150,000,000 in payroll. And then of course there's danger in going that route too, so...yeah, there's danger. No plan is guaranteed to work. Agreed.

Got an email for half off for MILBTV for the year, which comes to $25. Too good of a deal to pass up for me. You guys might wanna check your email. If not, maybe I can forward the email to you guys if you're interested.

Wada taken out after 5 after throwing 55 pitches. 5 IP 4 H 0 ER 1 BB 6 K.

The Sky Sox announcers mentioned something about him being hurt the inning before, but I didn't see it. He came out and pitched the 5th then left for a PH. His numbers are video game like right now.

You're killing me, Javy. Man the second half of the season would suck if he needs to be in Triple-A all season. And they surely aren't starting the clock for Boras' Bryant on this shitty team.

Patrick Mooney"]Edwards traveled to Chicago on Thursday and was examined by Dr. Stephen Gryzlo, with an MRI scheduled for Friday morning. The Cubs will have a better read on the shoulder issue at that point.

As a precaution, Edwards had to shut down his last side session with Double-A Tennessee, where he’s gone 1-0 with a 2.61 ERA in four starts, showing the stuff that made him the centerpiece in last summer’s Matt Garza trade with the Texas Rangers.

Daytona outfielder Albert Almora recently underwent a procedure stop nosebleeds. Injuries limited the 2012 first-round pick to only 61 games last season.

What happened to Torrez? I was promised Torrez.

Late scratch per the Kane County website writeup.

John Arguello"]UPDATE: Torrez is fine and will pitch tomorrow (per Cougars announcer Wayne Randazzo)
