Reds announcers are really blah

I literally never listen to the Reds announcers on MLBTV. The only way I ever would is if they played the White Sox in interleague.

 

Oh [expletive], now the Cubs have to score TWO runs to win. Too rich for their blood

It's truly amazing that the Padres and Astros have played two more games than the Cubs and still some how scored 2 fewer runs. It's hard to believe there is a level of bad lower than this.

I think the last time the Cubs went from Sunday to Friday in the regular season without scoring, Hurricane Ivan was involved.

He's got 2.5 years left. It wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world at this point, because we don't seem to be in any sort of hurry to open our window.

 

Of course, we'd have 3.5 years left if they'd have waited one more week to bring him up in 2012.

We may need to consider moving Rizzo and Castro to make room for the troutlike arismendy alcantara mega-deal.
