In McCutchen's defense, he was playing in left center and the throw went into right center. He had a long run just to get to the ball but his throw was terrible.

 

He was able to get to the ball by the time Bonifacio was still 2/3rds of the way to 3B. That run is 100% on him for getting caught by surprise.

Castro refuses to let Cole walk him, and grounds a single through the drawn-in infield that's probably an out if the IF is standard depth. Edited by bukie

I don't know if he actually saw it, but I think that is the right call. He had it in his bare hand when Castro kicks the glove and then crosses the plate.
