the best strategy if no one picks a QB ahead of the bears and no one we like is on the board, pick the best QB available and hold him for ransom.

estimates on what time the bears pick tonight?

Brad Biggs said if it's same pace as last year, around 830pm.

or trade back for ransom

Yeah, but drafting someone would buy them time.

I don't think Cody Ransom is worth a first round pick...

Doesn't the draft start at 7 pm CT? Only 1.5 hours to get through 14 picks seems light.

Definitely light. Teams have 10 minutes to make their pick, and I recall someone saying that last year the 14th pick was made around 8:50.

I don't remember it well but apparently it was moving quickly. Probably will end up closer to 9 CT, but if you aren't next to a TV for the duration you gotta play it safe...

I hate St. Louis even more now

DB was more of a need than DL

Never true unless you're Detroit or something.

I'm sure Fuller is going to be solid, but I didn't hear many people saying that he was on the Bears' radar. But that's Emery for you.

I don't see how anyone could be surprised. He was brought in for a private workout, he's one of the top prospects in an area of need. Heck, raw had him pegged as one of the top 6 most likely just a couple pages back.
