Im a Hageman fan. He's the defensive version of Kyle Long. But at this point, it would have to be in a trade down. And I think he's the one that could fall to the 2nd, and if not at 51, at a reasonable position where the Bears can trade up.

While I can't place Hageman to any team, it still feels like his potential is too much to let him fall much. If he is a part of the Emery six, he isn't going to take his chances on him falling unless it just works out that he takes one of his other 6.

The Emery 6? In no order. .....

HaHa Clinton Dix

Calvin Pryor

Rashede Hageman

Kyle Fuller

Louis Nix

Anthony Barr

All had visits and/or private workouts.

Why isn't Donald included here?

Was a while back but along the lines of Emery saying no chance Donald falls out of the top 10.

Can't believe he's risen that high. He's going to be a good player in the NFL but not a franchise changer IMO.

He's got a real chance to be, if he indeed comes through on the promise of being a consistently disruptive playmaker up front. I can see why he's risen that high -- it's a highly-valued skill set.

#Bears announce that Josh McCown and Jordan Mills are the Piccolo Award winners for the 2013 season.

So he wins awards, and the Bears just let him walk away like that. smh. This team will never win.

I feel that more and more Donald is a product of the media hype machine. I too don't believe he's a top 10 talent.

Don't think he's all hype, he'll do well in the right situation.

Jay Cutler received the award on his behalf, I thought this quote was a bit awkwardly worked:

He’s a 33-, 34-year-old guy. It would be very easy for him to close his room…and call home and talk to his family and try to spend as much time with them, but that was the opposite of Josh.

Basically Josh hates his family.

NFLDraftTek still has Bears going with Donald then Ward in the 1st and 2nd. After that its pretty interesting:

3. Dri Archer - WR (Kent St)

4. Marcus Roberson - CB (Florida)

5. Max Bullough - LB (Mich St)

6. Denicos Allen - LB (Mich St)

6. Michael Sam

I don't love the idea of getting two LB's or a WR that early. I'd grab CB's in the third and sixth, and another DL in the 4th. Sam would be a steal that late in the draft.

I love the 1st, 2nd and 4th picks. 3 and 5 are interesting prospects but I feel overdrafts.

Update at NFLDraftTek:

1. Donald

2. Ward

3. Stanley Jean-Baptiste (CB - Nebraska)

4. Telvin Smith (LB - FSU)

5. Archer

6. Jonathan Dowling (FS - W. Kentucky)

6. Cassius Marsh (LB - UCLA)

This makes much more sense to me than the one from yesterday, though I'd rather grab a DE in the 5th and wait to take a flier on a WR (Devin Street; Shaq Evans) or another corner (Victor Hampton) in the 6th.
