Oregon QB Marcus Mariota and C Hroniss Grassu will be returning to Oregon next year. Really wanted the Bears to draft Grassu.

So far, the only likely first rounder to declare early is UNC TE Eric Ebron.

I'm surprised on Mariota, thats a lot to turn down assuming he is still projected top 5.

Well, there's a history of redshirt sophomores returning for their junior year. Also, I have to imagine his stock is a bit down given recent poor performances (even if the performance is related to his knee injury).

Has Hundley declared early or were those just rumors as of now?

Rumors.

Mora indicated a couple of times that Hundley will return but Hundley himself has only no commented.

I don't think its a bad idea at all. One Mock Draft that came out today had him #2 overall still, thats really the only reason it surprised me to make that decision pretty early.

Can anyone provide a link to a good mock draft site that I don't have to pay for? I really need to figure out some available O-linemen and CBs for the Saints.

I like WalterFootball.com, not sure how 'good' it's considered to be though.

I'd love Allen Robinson to come back for his senior year, but his stock won't ever be higher than a ~1500 yard receiving year

Loaded WR draft, but I don't think there will be a non-loaded WR draft in the near future. Robinson should come out because he's not going to get any higher stock.

Walter thinks Bridgewater, Hundley, Manziel and Carr will go in the first six picks. There's going to be a push for the Rams to take Manziel with Washington's pick, but I'm 80 percent positive if they remain top five, it gets traded.

I agree, but I wonder what STL will be seeking for that pick. I don't know if they'll be able to get two extra first-rounders for moving down like they did in 2012, because at least as of now there's no clear-cut second-best player as there was with Luck/RG3.

I've actually stayed up late and caught some Fresno St games this year. Carr might be the best one out of that group in the pros. People who are squeamish about him because his brother was a bust are silly. If anything, he may have benefited from that experience.

Yeah, I think Carr is a clear cut #2 QB behind Bridgewater. As I said in the Bears thread, I think UCF's Blake Bortles is a first rounder too - and I think he might be a better prospect than Hundley (currently) and Manziel.

They picked up an additional second rounder from the Cowboys in 2012 for the No. 6 pick, so that's probably where they are aiming.

I don't have time to go through all the mocks, but Manziel seems like a big risk, especially in the top 10.

Was just about to post about Manziel. To me his ceiling is Michael Vick, with flashes of brilliance but unable to remain healthy enough to be a top tier franchise QB. This isn't even taking into account any potential "character" issues.

Mettenberger did tear his ACL. If he could be had in the 3rd, he'd be a steal. I'd probably take him in the 2nd if I had to.

And yes, Bortles is a 1st rounder if he comes out. Reminds me of Tebow with an actual ability to throw well.

I would've liked the Rams to look at him, but I don't think it'd be smart to have two quarterbacks with torn ACLs.

I like to read Walterfootball because he does early mocks and updates weekly, but overall his picks and analysis is pretty much crap.

He has teams he likes and those he doesn't. He will make bad assumptions about what some teams will do based on his biases. He also gets stuck on certain picks and refuses to change no matter what happens.

He's interesting to read from time to time, but I'd be surprised if his accuracy is even at 40% for the first round over the past few years.

Hahahaha I had a post yesterday that was very similar to this except it seems like one long giant rant so I didn't post it. This is how I feel about Walter. I feel like Charlie is better at the picks/analysis part than Walter. At least it seems like he get guys in the general area of where they're projected and doesn't go crazy like having 7 QBs in the 1st (Walter had something like this in '11). I love the scouting reports/pro days/positional rankings/etc that Walter does though.

Having said that, that's the first place I go if I want to check out a NFL mock draft. Draft-Tek is 2nd.

At this point in the process, there's no difference between good mocks and bad mocks. Might as well read as many as you can find and create a consensus yourself

Antonio Richardson and Louis Nix turned pro. Would love Nix on the Bears, especially if they move to a 3-4.

Interested to see if Auburn's rs sophomore LT Greg Robison opts to be drafted late first, early second or to come back next year and potentially be a top 10 pick.
