Geno Smith's Monday Night Football performance was the highest QB rating game any QB has had in the 2013 season. 147.7.

 

That includes a 500 yard, 5 TD game and a 7 TD, 0 INT game.

 

To me, it just illustrates the shortcomings of that statistic. Geno's performance was pretty good, but obviously not in the same league as Manning's earlier in the year.

fwiw, it was the 40th-best individual QB game of the season by ESPN's QBR

 

and 56th-best, by EPA (expected points added)

 

Manning's season has been so good that his 7 TD game is actually listed as his worst game of the season by QBR! That's incredible.

Not too surprised. Cutler actually had a better QBR that week. Manning lost credit for some of those TD's cuz they were garbage time.

Now they are saying that its not Adrian Peterson Jr, but another son of Peterson's that was previously unknown (to the public). That child is not expected to survive and will likely be taken off life support tonight. Really really sad.

 

The mother is a Sioux Falls woman who moved from the Twin Cities soon after the child was born, and believes the boy might be Peterson's, though no paternity test was done. (City Pages claims one was conducted recently.) The reporter also says Peterson has no contact with the woman or the child.

Are the Bucs still trying to deny that Tynes caught it from their facility? Seems like an impossible case to make now, if it wasn't before.

They should lock the guy in a room with AP and ignore what follows.

 

EDIT: I read a story earlier that implied that Peterson had previously known about his son before I read the story above. Either way.

Hope that guy gets raped over and over again in prison. He probably won't last two years before someone kills him.

 

I went to high school with a guy who killed his own child by shaking it. He was always soft spoken and seemed cool, but a few years later I picked up a paper and saw he had been convicted of murder for it. It was kind of jarring. You just never know, I guess.

 

I can't fathom it. When my daughter was a baby/toddler I handled her like she was made of glass.

I hope the guy is convicted of what he's guilty of, spends a lot of time in prison and improves himself. And I hope the Peterson family copes as well as you can. I hope no one gets raped or murdered, jesus christ.
