Broncos are the clear best team in the NFL but would be the 5th seed in the AFC right now.

On what tiebreak? 3-3 Tennessee vs 3-3 Baltimore?

You are right in singling out the Chiefs Tennessee game and Denver's Baltimore game. It would come down to the combined ranking of points scored and points allowed tiebreaker. Baltimore is 14th in points scored and 16th in points allowed (total score of 30 just for comparison purposes). Tennessee is 15th in points scored and 10th in points allowed (total score of 25). So the team that played Tennessee would win the tiebreaker, which is KC.

That's 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

The Patriots have the worst WR core in the NFL and it isn't particularly close.

Not even the worst in their division.

Who do you think is worse? Jets or Bills?

YES

Stevie Johnson+Robert Woods and Stephen Hill+ Santonio Holmes > Dobson, Thompson and co.

Not better than the Bills, no, at least not at this juncture. Better than the Jets easily. Edelman and Amendola are both better than any receiver the Jets have. Stephen Hill is a marginal receiver. Holmes isn't anything special. He's an average receiver these days, if that. Kerley is the best receiver the Jets have.

DEN/KC don't start their head-to-heads until Nov 17th, too. Right now, I'd probably say Denver would win those but who knows -- by the time mid-November rolls around injuries could accumulate on either side. Also, KC is in more of a position to improve. They are 6-0 and in the process of assimilating a new system. Denver is probably as good as they'll be, right now. There's nothing standing in the way of KC rolling into Denver 9-0. Denver has it a little tougher.

It will be interesting to watch. I'm definitely pulling for KC. Good football fans in that town.

The AFC is historically bad this year. KC or Denver could conceivably go 16-0 or both 15-1 for that matter (with losses to each other). And they get the AFC South (3 bad teams) and the worst division in the NFC.

In what way is the AFC "historically bad" this year?

Didn't mean it literally. Or think I'd offend anyone. But there's probably 3 teams (NE, Den, Ind) that I would put in the top 10 power rankings. Jags are historically bad. There are clear gimmes with over 1/2 the AFC teams, except when they are playing each other. The bad NFC teams other than Tampa are extremely dangerous and ATL, MIN, Was were all playoff teams last year. NYG won 8 games and have a potential HoF QB. Despite the records, I'd have Buf, Pit, NYJ, Oak, SD, Cle, Jax, Hou in my bottom 10 teams (NYG and TB from the NFC).

Nobody was offended, I just found it peculiar that you could even non-literally call the AFC "historically bad" when they're 19-13 vs. the NFC this year.

I don't really know what to say to the rest of that, so I won't.

Just noticed Andrew Luck's enormous, robust australopithecine style brow ridge. Yikes.

He looks like the bad guy from grandma's boy

Dumb decision to go for the field goal. Where are your balls, San Diego?

Even if he missed, Indy had nothing tonight. Absolutely zero.

Every team outside of Denver is just a different shade of mediocre.

Um Denver's defense really isn't all that great.

They have been playing without their two best defensive players up to this point in the season.

When is Miller back from his suspension? Was it 6 weeks?
