HOF or not, Ben Wallace is not the worst Noah comparison for his career to date. A bit more balanced, but I'm not sure you can get a better Noah comp without prefixing with "Poor man's".

The original statement was that Noah is "not even close" to the player that Wallace was. My point was that he absolutely is. I have no problem with the comparison, but acting like Wallace is in some whole other league than Noah is silly.

Well the original statement was a response to somebody being pissed that we may have drafted a Ben Wallace at the no. 9 pick. I stand behind the fact he will get serious consideration or get in. I could go through and get 10 guys in the hall that Wallace is definitely better than. As for Noah, he's a really good player but his defense and rebounding are not as good as Wallace who was among the best all time at both. Noah's marginally improvements in offense is not close to the downgrade in other areas. You may not have been watching Wallace's effect on the games and just how incredible he was.

Why wasnt Rondo playing? Didn't he play on Sunday in Boston? Or is he still on some post-ACL tear back-to-back/my team is trying to get Andrew Wiggins restriction?

Noah:

"There's no way in hell we're going to try and lose games to match up against anybody. I think whatever happens, happens, so we're just going to keep playing our game, keep winning as much as we can, and then (we) can't wait for the playoffs."

"I think losing games to try to play somebody, I think that's soft," Noah said. "That's soft. We're not soft."

Bulls up 26 at halftime over Washington. If they win they will tie last years Bulls in wins with 45 with 5 games to go. Amazing considering they started out 9-16 and traded Deng shortly after.

The Pacers started out 16-1 and the Bulls 7-9. Since then, the Bulls have been 38-23 (the start of that was actually 2-7, they've been 36-16 since), while the Pacers have been 37-23.

Looks like Ronnie Brewer is officially back.

Amazingly, the Jazz claimed Erik Murphy off waivers, meaning his rookie salary (~490K) comes off the books meaning that the Bulls are no longer in danger of being over the tax even if Noah makes All-NBA 1st team and Taj makes the All-Defensive team, AND they still have money to sign Brewer and Mike James for the rest of the year and be clear of the tax.

Thanks Utah! Looks like they paid back the favor the Bulls did for them when they signed Boozer in a S+T

I love watching Ronnie Brewer play defense. When it comes to dunking...that's a different story. Welcome back Ronnie. #Bulls

Although it's been said many times, it's still amazing to think about how well they've played since trading Deng. Kind of shows how unimportant he was (with Butler around)

14-18 before the trade, 32-18 after the trade.

the bulls hit the motherload by getting thibs. give him whatever he wants whenever he wants it. he needs to be the coach of this team for a long time.

Playoffs will be fun this year for Chicago winter sports. Blackhawks are defending cup champs, so anything they do is icing on a cake Im still enjoying. The Bulls are playing with house money and anything they do is just gravy.

Maybe I'm just a pessimist but despite all the fun the bulls aren't going to win or challenge for the title and to me it sucks playing in a very winnable east and realizing we could compete if our superstar wasn't missing his 3rd straight playoffs. And having won the cup last year and returning a similar roster, anything less than returning to the SCF is probably going to be a disappointment for Hawks fans.

/pissing on cheerios

I'll still enjoy both playoffs though.

I look at the Bulls as "what could have been, can still be". So if you get a team that gets to the ECF or gives Indiana a good series in round 2, and you add Derrick Rose and maybe find a way to get another Deng level player, then u got a legit contender.

Blackhawks basically get a year pass from me. But part of that is Im assuming WCF for them.

I'm with you. Despite the Bulls in a bad conference, even with Drose they still can't win a title as currently constructed. They're a piece or two away from being able to challenge for the title assuming Rose comes back at an All-Star level.

That doesn't really sound like you're with him.
