Is there any video coverage of the AFL at all? I want to see visual evidence of our prospects destroying that league.

Pretty sure at some point MLBN broadcasts some games

only if anyone there can grace us with a recording. Other than that we will get one full game to see our boys, the ASG.

When was the last time a farm had this kind of offensive potential? I can't think of time when a farm has had this kind of positional talent.

What did the Royals look like a few years ago? Or was some of theirs tied up in pitching?

It was pretty evenly split. Moustakas, Hosmer, Myers, Duffy, Odorizzi, Montgomery

@kileymcd: Yesterday Addison Russell was the 2012 draft pick from a FL high school dominating the loaded Mesa-Glendale game. Today it's Albert Almora.

@CarrieMuskat: Jorge Soler fouled ball off his left ankle, and apparently is OK. Just hit 3R double in 4th for Mesa. #Cubs

Also before Colon fell off the face of the earth.

At the height of their status in 2011, the Royals had Hosmer, Moustakas, and Myers ranked 8,9,10 and Colon at 51(Lamb and Montgomery were also Top 20, holy smokes). That's the closest I can find to having 4 position players in the Top 50. Thus far it's the only example I can find of 3 in the Top 50, outside of the Cubs this year. Really wish BA didn't make their historical Top 100 page impossible to copy into a spreadsheet.

Soler with a bases-loaded double to clear them. 10-0 Mesa right now with Bryant up.

EDIT: Almora 3-3 with a double, HR, 3 R and 3 RBI, Soler 1-3 with a double and 3 RBI, Bryant 2-2 with a HR, BB, R and 3 RBI.

@kileymcd: I think a lineup of Bryant, Soler and Almora would beat the Astros today.

Just remember, the AFL is an incredibly hitter-friendly league.
