I'm really enjoying Shawon Dunston Jr.'s 14/9 BB/K ratio, you guys.

Yeah, I see him moving to Kane County when Almora gets promoted to Daytona around the 1st week in August.

Paniagua last pitched July 2nd. I wonder when he'll take the mound next and for whom. I'd love to see him get an inning or two in for the AZL Cubs while they're evaluating him. Today would be nice...

Geez, were the batters even awake with a 9:30/10:30 AM start?

This is normal there I'm assuming? I never really paid attention to start times.

They have a game this early about once every two weeks (not including doubleheaders).

Over his last 4 outings, 21-year-old Austin Reed has 10K/1BB/4hits/10 innings, no runs. 4 outings isn't much for a guy who's been chronically wild and hittable with no K-pitch. But you never know.

Baez is 0-19 since homering in his first AA at bat.

How many K's does he have?

Alcantara's 2 for 3 with a BB and a K. Cabrera with 7 and gave up 3 hits and a walk, striking out 3. He really seems to be in a groove.

3-4 for Alcantara now.

His numbers look doubly crazy when you see how bad the Southern League is at offense.

Could we be seeing a August call up to Iowa for him?

that wRC+ of 137 coming into tonight sure looks nice.

Oh, fun fact, that homer yesterday was his first lefty homer of the season. 12 righty,
