Iowa reminds me of the early to mid 00's Tommy Amaker Michigan teams. Start out great, get ranked nationally, appear to be locked into an NCAA berth and then fade away down the stretch. The difference I guess is 4 extra at-large teams because Michigan was probably one of the first 4 teams out a couple of those years.

 

According to Lunardi's site at least, even with the 4 extra teams Iowa would be pretty cleanly in as they aren't even among the first four byes.

I've got Iowa as a 9 seed right now, which is a stark drop from the likely protected seed they were 3 weeks ago.

Relative to the multiple bad continuations for staukas yes. On an ordinary day where that's not called it would've been fine

The foul calls haven't been bad, but the continuation calls have been terrible.

Nobody said they shouldn't be fouls, just not NBS style continuation shooting fouls.

Every since that Stauskas continuation, I feel like the calls have been in favor of Illinois. Before that it was the opposite

or how about the obvious hand slap on that 3 by Robinson? Just stop, Illinois is getting some breaks also. It hasnt been officiated that well, but it certainly is not in Michigans favor.

That had more to do with the transition from the older guys to younger guys this year. Nunn and Hill have completely changed the way they're able to play offense because they can actually, you know, shoot the ball.
