Ian Stewart probably doesn't deserve his own thread but we can put stuff on all injured guys here.

Arizona Phil[/url]"]Rehabbing from a strained quad suffered in an intrasquad game in February, Ian Stewart played 3B for five innings and batted six times (once in each of the first six innings), going 0-6 with three strikeouts (all three swinging), two fly outs, and a line-drive out, leaving seven baserunners stranded (four in scoring position).

And here's a Darwin Barney update:

@CarrieMuskat: #Cubs Darwin Barney is cleared to do all activities. Will get stitches out end of week. Hoping to rehab at Minor League game this weekend

Sounds like Stewart is hitting in bad luck again...

:D That thread from last year was hilarious. Some posters hung onto that thought all season long.

And by all season, you mean through early June when his season ended.

Jesus Christ.

No, Jesus is fine. He was off the 3 day DL on March 31. Amazingly no worse for wear on what looked like a really bad "upper body" injury.

then he was designated for assignment but interestingly enough has not shown up on any roster since

Well rumor has him with the Mormons AAA club in upstate new york but that's unconfirmed.

Big League pitchers finally caught on to the fact that he can not hit curveball.

Are you trying to say that Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball?

That'll happen when you have a evening game...not much to write about.

It would be awesome if there were.

Some people need a maximum limit.

That's what I was thinking when I started this thread. I haven't forgotten UMFan's threads that derailed Prior and Wood's careers.

If I ever come across Prior in person, I'm convinced he's going to punch me in the face.
