also, i thought the "won't pitch for the cubs this season" tweet was intentionally misleading. anybody who follows the system would know he hasn't appeared in a minor league game yet and assume he meant that vizcaino wouldn't see game action this year.

 

There was a lot of talk that he would appear for the Cubs this season, and I wouldn't assume anybody who follows the system would be up-to-date on what his status was prior to the injury.

I just hope this isn't an Angel Guzman sort of redux. That kid had a great future if he could have stayed healthy
