Marmol and Soriano still stink.

Soriano had a bad game, he was very good last year. He doesn't belong in Marmol's class of stink yet

Soriano did not stink last year, so if he stinks now, it's not "still."

Is it possible for someone to lose their closer job on Opening Day?

In this case, yes. I think they want Fujikawa in that role, but someone, sometime gave Marmol a promise that he'd have first dibs or something. That was his chance.

Now he's squeezing the strike zone?!?!

When you [expletive] suck as bad as Marmol, you won't get the borderline calls.

James Russell coming in.

Good to see Sveum has a quick hook with Marmol.

Took me 1 day to make my 1$ auction snag of Fujikawa a steal?????

I know.. Noone cares.

You must be in a league of fools or something. Anyone who knows anything about the Cubs coming in would've had their eye on Fujikawa.

it feels like the Pirates have walked off/caused blown saves against the Cubs 500 times in the last 10 years.

When you look at his contract he did. He's a tremendous bust.

Soriano did force Hendry at gunpoint to sign him to the deal, so I guess you have a point.
