I was going to make fun of them for pulling Konerko as he sat at 1st with the bases loaded in the 16th. But then I saw just how terrible Konerko has been this year. And then I saw how terrible the White Sox offense has been this year. 1 player (no PA minimum) with an OPS over 725. Amazing.

Toronto beat Texas 4-3 in 18 innings already today and the Mets and Marlins are currently tied 1-1 going to the 20th inning.

 

Last game to go 20 innings was Mets-Cardinals in 2010. Last to go more than 20 was Rockies-Padres in 2008, which went 22 innings.

Another crazy brawl involving Greinke and the Dodgers. Can't believe the Diamondbacks hit two Dodgers in the head.

McGwire was definitely raging. And Puig was really one of the main instigators, imo.

 

Kershaw and Puig both threw punches in this thing and yet they don't get suspended. That makes complete sense.

the mets had matt harvey and zack wheeler pitching in their double-header today. if i were a met fan i would've walked around all day with an erection.

The mets have a bunch of pitching prospects posting ridiculous numbers in the minors this year, also.

Interesting call on a FC late in the game. Runner on second, high grounder to Votto, Bailey doesn't run to cover first. Runner would have beat it out. But Votto throws to third instead and gets the runner on a rundown. It's the right ruling, but Votto's decision very likely saved the no hitter.
