Whether the coordinator is competent or not, (and Tice certainly wasn't) you still don't like to hear that Jay seems to get in a pissing match with every single one.

I don't give a crap if Jay didn't get along with Tice. He was a dolt. And Martz had a reputation of not getting along with his own squad coming in, and he hasn't found work coaching since his time here.

I think this says more about the organizations problems with overall offensive philosophy than something that is wrong with Jay Cutler. He doesn't lead the league in smiles, but I don't give a crap.

furthermore, the league is riddled with arrogant jackass quarterbacks, Jay being one of them isn't a huge deal.

the facts are, Jay has been successful in the league, he's had successful years where he's had to be the entire offense. he's done it all dodging 300-pound men that want to kill him. people act like we're still waiting for him to fulfill his promise or like he's a bust. he's anything but a bust, he's led an offense that had no means to protect him and he did it like a [expletive] hero. meanwhile, he's done it in a city full of meatballs that expect Peyton Manning-type numbers when they've never seen anything close to one as good as Jay Cutler. Cutler as he is is good enough to win a Super Bowl in any system.

I believe that Trestman has vision, and I'm glad that the guy calling plays is the HC, it's what we should have had all along. No team should ever hire a DC as the HC, continuity on offense is so much more important than on defense. this way we'll actually have an offensive system we can count on for more than a year before junking.

I guess the question begs, is there a coordinator out there Cutler will get along with?

Oh, yeah, there's been a whole two he's had issues with, one of which was definitively terrible at his job. This is a really huge concern.

Three.

And obviously he clashed with McDaniels but you can't come close to blaming him for that one.

he didn't clash with Turner, did he?

My man crush on Jay is huge, but a lot of you guys defend his play way too much.

A lot is left to be desired. Bad decisions (they're not ALL the WR's fault). Holding onto the ball for too long (other QBs have awful lines too and do much better). His accuracy isn't great. Shitty fundamentals.

He's been OK given the circumstances, but I certainly expected more out of the 26 year old coming off a pro bowl we traded for four years ago.

I've definitely heard that he did, but I can't find exactly what I'm thinking of via Google right now.

Evan Rodridguez released per Brad Biggs.

Figured that was coming. Not good enough to get in that type of trouble. He was a reach pick that was not at a need or very useful position. Worst Emery pick so far.

Didn't clash with Shanahan who was the only good offensive mind he has worked with so far.

Probably. But the guy taken one round ahead of him didn't play football that year and hasn't played football since.

Congratulations to FB Tony Fiammetta on signing with the Chicago Bears #Bears

Replace one FB with another.

And freaking Haugh (and I'm sure others) are congratulating Emery on cutting Rodriguez when they should be lambasting him for the draft pick in the first place.

Wait, what? "You guys?" Who was getting into his QBing at all in this discussion besides sulley?

Well, I was mainly replying to sulley there, but I have noticed in the past a lot of defensiveness of his play. Maybe I'm wrong. And I've been guilty of the same in the past, but I think it goes a bit too far.

Probably just a natural byproduct of all the criticism heaped on him, I guess.

#Bears sign WRs Devin Aromashodu and Jerrell Jackson. They waive WRs Demetrius Fields and Dale Moss.

The good news is, that snippet was written by Moon Mullin, so there is an 70% chance, it's just made up.

That being said, let's just say it is indeed true. That's totally unacceptable. I don't care how shitty a coach is, one of your players just can't refuse to talk and communicate with him. I'm puzzled at the lengths some folks will go to at times to defend Jay

the best quarterbacks in the league hold the ball a long time. and not many of them have as bad of lines as Jay does.

Good for Evan. Now he won't have to have that professional NFL ball club get in the way of his partying.

Shea McClellin has plantar fasciitis. Apparently it's not going to limit his participation in OTA's/minicamp though. First cropped up in Feb. and apparently has gotten quite a bit better.

I don't get it.

Nothing to get. He just looks insanely tall to me in that particular picture.
