I remember hearing this offseason that Rizzo had adjusted his swing a bit. Has anyone seen anything about this as of late?

My guess is so he'll have to acquire some plate discipline. He'll be pitched around with the pitcher due up next. I like it a lot myself.

Wells struggling today. 3IP 6H 4ER 2K getting hit pretty hard.

Vitters with a hit, Rizzo with a walk and a run. Vitters' defense also looking decent(at least the time I've been watching).

Wells is at least starting to miss some bats. I'm not completely disappointed with this start despite the run total.

He's now retired the last 10 batters he's faced with 5Ks on the day. Salvaged the day though he's been helped by a strong wind blowing in.

If Vitters starts to walk at a decent rate and improves the defense to decent...he's going to be a really good prospect for us again.

I knew I was right to never leave the bandwagon!

All seven of Vitters hits have been singles thus far.

Ahhh so it's like the Masters where the previous winner has to be the one to award it?
