  1. The Chiefs game will be on Milb.tv this afternoon. I'm excited to be able to watch Wells for the first time!
  2. He's now retired the last 10 batters he's faced with 5Ks on the day. Salvaged the day though he's been helped by a strong wind blowing in.
  3. Wells struggling today. 3IP 6H 4ER 2K getting hit pretty hard. Vitters with a hit, Rizzo with a walk and a run. Vitters' defense also looking decent(at least the time I've been watching).
  4. Rizzo with a 3 run shot to right!
  5. Moreno vs. Oakland or Benson @ SD? Playing the number one seed in single-elimination playoffs. (dun dun dun).
  6. Benson vs Det Slaton @ Jac or Moreno @KC
  7. Hurt Benson, crappy Forte, or limited-playing-time Slaton?
  8. I also managed to start exactly the wrong Bears this week. Hester, who I normally start. Bennett, who was filling in for a bye. And benched forte, who looks sort of like he kind of knows what he's doing. Stupid bears.
  9. False start, holding, then slipped and fell down on a comeback route and the DB picked it off and returned it to like the 10. Awesome. This team rocks.
  10. Don't get NFL network...what'd Hester do?
  11. Need 2: Forte Benson Rice
  12. Need 2: Ray Rice vs Den (number 3 rush D) Slaton @ Buf (number 32 rush D) Forte vs Cle (number 31 rush D) I've recently promised myself never to bench Rice and never to start Forte, but the differential in rush D makes me hesitate.
  13. no, that's not even a little bit true I'll agree to an extent, not enough talent to be an elite team, but enough to be competitive and winning the games we've lost. Our 2 loses are stupid loses where we beat ourselves. The only team in the NFC which I think will beat us regularly is the Saints. All the other teams its somewhere between "could go either way" to easy victory. Um, I think we agree. Haha that was more targeted at sneakypower. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

  15. no, that's not even a little bit true Sure it is. At times it seems like we are completely dominating teams. Not just beating, but absolutely destroying them. We shoot ourselves in the foot, and BAM, back to earth. If you want to argue that by shooting ourselves in the foot we're not elite, then fine. We're not getting beat. We're beating ourselves. That's a crucial difference, and thats why these loses hurt 1000x more.
  16. Wow...it's like we have the talent to be an elite team but are absolutely [expletive] in every phase of the game and knock it back to middle of the pack...this team is infuriating. At least in the early parts of the decade we knew we were gonna be bad and prepared for it...wow.
  17. Alright now lets get 2 TDs up before Atlanta remembers it has a good offense.
  18. Thats two plays in a row we should have gotten a turnover. Dammit.
  19. YES! Oh crap. Ok, I was right the first time. Way to make it tricky Knox.
  20. Oh wow did Adewale bite on that fake.
  21. Thats two good plays by Roach on two run plays.
  22. As a general rule I start anyone playing the Raiders. Looks like Parker's on his way back, so Mendenhall is gonna lose some points. Denver's defense is apparently good now, so I'd go either Grant or Mendenhall.
  23. Bye week for Romo gives me a sad option... Edwards @ NYJ Bulger @ Jac Normally I'd go Bulger in a heartbeat especially considering the defenses theyre playing, but I'm worried about that shoulder injury... As far as running backs go I have a whole jumbled mess (pick 2): Forte @ Atl Slaton @ Cin Rice @ Min Benson @ Hou Lynch @ NYJ Bradshaw @ NO So far, I'm perfect at benching Slaton, Rice, and Benson when they have huge games and starting them when they suck. MINs run D hasn't been what it usually is, but its still good. Bradshaw seems to have a lot of potential, and I think the Bears-Falcons is going to go pass heavy fairly quickly, so I'm leaning towards Bradshaw/Benson, but I'm open to suggestions.
