WeareDePaul.com's message boards might be the most depressing place on earth these days. Just thought I'd share.

Example:

I don't find it embarassing [to be on ESPN] at all. I've pretty much accepted the fact that DePaul basketball could not get any lower in the thoughts and minds of the general college basketball public. If a non-DePaul fan is actaully watching a game involving DePaul, they pretty much expect a boring blowout of our Demons, and if at home an apathetic sparsely populated crowd and/or rabid opposing fans drowning out the meager attempt at cheering from our fans.

It's a way of life at this point. For something to be embarassing, there would have to be some sort of humility coming into it.

Michigan reportedly said 'thanks but no thanks' to this idea. I'm not sure if others had the choice (UM does have that 'most favored nation' clause with Adidas) or if they're just too dumb.

Adidas is terrible. I've hated every special uniform Michigan has worn. They all look like something the Harlem Globetrotters would wear. I honestly wish Michigan went back to Nike (but stayed away from any pro combat uniforms).

Lunardi moves KU to a 1-seed with the Michigan loss.

What a joke. They've had two straight games gifted to them. The big 12 knows how to protect it's annual one seed.

Yeah, thank god for the refs in that 30 point win that preceded the ISU game.

Sorry the Okstate one also, I forgot you crushed TCU in between.

Didn't realize the refs handed us that one. Fascinating. I'm guessing the only Big 12 games we played in that we're fairly called were the OSU loss and the OU loss. Any other game that was closer than 15 points was a gift from the refs.

You don't think it's a bit odd to make it through an overtime and almost a second and winning while not making a field goal, while on the road? Oh wait you're a KU fan, of course you don't.

The first TCU game was okay.

No, I don't find it particularly odd, considering OSU only hit three baskets over 2 overtimes. Then again, I don't have your storied history of level-headed objectivity regarding KU and Bill Self.

Like where I've said on here several times that self is the best coach in the country? That type hatred?

Oh I hate Kansas, more specifically Kansas fans. But self is the best coach in the country.

Michigan's special uniforms have been bad, but on the scale of terrible things Adidas has done to college sports jerseys it's barely a blip. Count yourself lucky, my friend.

They'll be the most stylish 1-seed too:

Wtf. Do the players think these look good?

From Twitter posts, ND players seem to love them. (Not that they'd say they hated them in a public forum.)

Duke @ Virginia tonight is a pick 'em? What am I missing here that Vegas sees?

Don't know but its a road game against a non terrible team. I'm rooting for a Duke loss tonight and win over Miami this weekend. Gonzaga also to lose at BYU tonight and IU just might stay #1 after a loss for a second time this year.

Catholic 7 (plus an undetermined number of teams) will keep the Big East name and most likely start play next season, per ESPN's Brett McMurphy.

So what becomes of the leftovers? Sorry I haven't really read up on this.
