5 offeasons, huh? I wonder when they'll get to actually start. Maybe about 2024.

They've since said they can do it in 4.

Spectacular.

Very nice work on the upper bleacher tier, the only section left untouched by the 05-06 expansion. They're adjusting the rake to allow for more headroom and a patio under the scoreboard, and to make room for a new LED board at the base in a manner that won't result in obstructed views.

Looks to me like they're getting rid of the CF LED board altogether.

I'm thinking the green sign board (Budweiser) won't be static. Time will tell.

I noticed that this model doesn't have the pedestrian bridge from the hotel to the stadium. I wonder if they could accomplish the same thing by using an underground tunnel instead, since -- remembering back -- the neighborhood didn't like that idea either.

What would be the point of a tunnel to cross Clark Street? I pedestrian bridge would look nice and provide a sense of superiority to the hotel customers. A tunnel would be much more expensive and be disgusting eventually. Just walk across the street like everybody else.

I think a major objective of the bridge was to be able to put more signage up there. A tunnel wouldn't do much in that way.

I don't recall that idea even being floated for the neighborhood not to like, though.

It was, and looking back it was Tunney who started chirping up about it. I'm not sure if the rest of the neighborhood was opposed.

Anyway, I can see gooney's point.

Am I crazy? I don't see anything about an undreground tunnel there.

I think he meant that the neighborhood didn't like the bridge idea, which is why it is not in the video, and therefore maybe a tunnel would work.

And they're more confident now based on what?

They actually had a lawyer read the contract.

The paypal money Tom was waiting on from selling some stuff on Ebay finally showed up in the checking account, so he could afford a consultation.

I wondered the same thing.

That said, it doesn't actually say they're more confident. It says they're taking a harder stance and are confident in their position legally/financially.
