the braves' wild card lead over the cardinals is down to 1.5 games, 1 in the loss column. get your [expletive] together, braves!

 

The Braves last 3 games are vs. the Phillies, while the Cards have 1 more with the Mets and then the Cubs and Astros. Braves better hope that the Phils can lock up the 10oth win befoe they play them and just let the kids play the last 3 games. The Brewers only have the Marlins and Pirates, but they're all away games. I doubt they have much to worry about, but I'd sure love to see them fold. As much as I don't want the Cards to get in, Cards/Brewers in the NLCS would be interesting, though I don't see the Cards taking out the Phils, and The Brewers might have trouble with the D Backs.

hahahahahaha that was just a delightful meltdown, complete with maddening walks (three unintentional walks with a four run lead, terrible), an error, and of course the strikeout of david wright to give them false hope. not as great as the holliday-almost-getting-hit-in-the-balls game, but still fantastic.

Pretty horrible loss for them, but I'm not counting those guys out til they're out.

Too bad the Braves keep losing too. We may have two one game playoffs at this point. that would be cool though considering a month or two ago all the races looked decided.

As much as I'd love two one-game playoffs, I'd much rather settle for just one as long as it means the Cards don't have a shot at making the playoffs.

I think its starting to be clear that the Braves choke is just as bad as the Red Sox.

 

Red Sox are 7-19 in their last 26, Braves are 8-17 in their last 25

this [expletive] is bad. braves are down 6-0 to the phillies. wtf. cards are down 1-0 early. after The Year That I Pretend Didn't Happen, i don't want the cards making the playoffs, even if they don't look like they'd do anything.
