Is Buffalo that late to the news?

also, isn't Kane in rehab for cocaine?

That's the rumor that Dan Bernstein has been floating around. Any hard evidence for it?

I've found rumors that he's in some sort of rehab. It could be some combination between too drinky, drugy, sexting and texting. Hopefully he's focused on his game this offseason.

Kop. just got a 4 year 12m dollar deal from Florida. The market is so out of whack that Richards is going to be like 20m per

Wow. We weren't (hopefully) going to give him anywhere near that, so I'm glad we at least got a draft pick out of him.

Lots of rumors swirling around. From what I'm seeing it's all but a given Sopel returns. He lives in Chicago, wife has a store, wants to retire a Hawk and will basically play for peanuts and bottles of Aleve.

TJ Oshie is the latest rumor. He's an RFA with the Blues which means we would have to be willing to eat some draft picks to get him.

Less than $1,034,250 None

$1,034,250 - $1,567,043 Third-round pick

$1,567,044 - $3,134,088 Second-round pick

$3,134,089 - $4,701,131 First- and third-round picks

$4,701,123 - $6,268,175 First-, second- and third-round picks

$6,268, 176 - $7,835,219 Two first-round picks, second- and third-round picks

More than $7,835,219 Four first-round picks

I'm guessing Oshie would be signed for a hit between 3.1 and 4.7. Closer to the 3.1 I'd assume the Blues would match, closer to the 4.7 we'd probably get him, but lose the picks and would probably be overpaying a bit. I am intrigued about the Toews/Oshie reunion though. I'd throw in an offer of 3.5 or so and see what happens

Where do you go for the latest up to the minute rumors? I want to follow this more closely.

#Leafs #Blackhawks #Sharks all remain interested in #Penguins Talbot. 2M per season over 4 years remains the ball park for his services.

RT @Aportzline: Told Chicago will be hot after Jan Hejda if he reaches free agency. #Blackhawks

TimSassone Tim Sassone

Add these names to Jan Hejda as UFAs who interest #Blackhawks: Mike Rupp and Matt Bradley. Size, size, size.

The #Blackhawks have acquired defenseman Steve Montador from Buffalo for a 2012 or 2013 7th-round draft pick. http://t.co/s1JeCYp

Decent deal for the Hawks.

Well, he is an UFA, so that remains to be seen.

Potentially a decent deal for the Hawks.

Oshie just got extended with StL for 1 year.

Best part about Montador is that he's not John Scott or Nick Boynton. He's an upgrade over both of them and will likely be paired with Campoli on the 3rd line.

Really hoping they take a run at Ville Leino.

TBH, I am not sure what type of playmaker he is, but he may in fact be paired with Hammer on the 2nd line.

Keith/Seabrook

Hjalmarsson/Montador

Campoli/Sopel

While poor Nick Leddy wastes away.

I'd bet a whole 5 bucks than Leddy starts the year on the 2nd line. Stan think he's going to seamlessly replace Campbell's transition game, so he's a natural pair on the 2nd with a stay at home guy like Hammer.

Given Wirtz's willingness to spend big time in recent years, including actual payroll that is well above the salary cap, I wonder if we're poised for a couple years of significant underspending. He has to figure there's fairly decent goodwill built up with the Cup. He's got all his stars in place and the team should at least by competitive going forward.

Yeah, as much as Bowman has talked (gushed?) about Leddy, I can't imagine he won't be in Chicago. Hjamlmarsson/Montador doesn't seem like the type of defensive pairing the Hawks like either. I'd love to see Sopel back for depth, but not sure he'd sign to be the seventh defenseman (I'm assuming Campoli is back too).

Rumors are getting crazy. Seen a few tweets/blogs suggesting Hawks and talking with Boston. Shipping Hammer their way for one of their 5 quality centers

99% of it is just noise unfortunately. Kind of fun following it today and the speed in which you can get rumors with Twitter is unbelievable.
