This Villanova/South Florida game is terrible.

 

Seriously, horrendous.

Couldn't have asked for a better draw in the conference tournament. Get the job done tomorrow fellas.

I'm talking about Richmond's presence off the court the entire season.

I don't know enough about any of that to comment. I know he made a huge mistake after he had declared for the draft, but I'm not sure what all he did during the season.

And that might not have been the worst Pac-12 game today. UCLA-USC was ugly.

Alright Illinois, [expletive] you guys. We haven't won a BTT game since winning the title in '06. I'm sick of losing on Thursday. If Iowa wins they keep NIT hope alive and I wouldn't mind getting another shot at MSU in their first game without Dawson. More importantly they can avoid losing twice to Illinois and slam the door on Weber. Even though he's been bad recently and they could upgrade, I still hate his stupid face, voice and the fact that his mouth is always open.

I believe Iowa has a very good chance but, there's always the possibility the Illini could put it together for a game. You know hit those open jumpers they always miss or make a lay up or even realize they've got the best player on the floor and properly utilize his game.

One defense on Cole vs Hummell: Cole's dad played on the Rose Bowl team in the 80s and he was from Peoria. It was important for Illinois at that time to keep that pipeline open (unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a lot of high major talent coming out of Peoria in recent years).

 

Hummel had similar ties to the university, but Cole's ties were much stronger to the athletic department. We declined to play the game with Max Bielfeldt (his family's name is on the athletic administration building, and Meyers is dating his sister) and its going to kill us in the coming years.

What has to be killing you guys, is that Illinois fans will barely care if we lose. I mean yeah, losing to Iowa is a fate worse than death (though not as bad as losing to IU), but there are positive consequences to losing today (possibly no postseason, meaning the new coach can get in earlier)

Because i dont think a hack is good at his job? Have you listened to him? He doesnt even bother with doing homework on the teams. Griffeys a great garbage man for us he says. No actually hes a jump shooter. Good try though Gus. Pure.

You know who's an innocent bystander getting shot in all of these Weber articles? Nebraska. And I find it funny each time.

 

No matter who wrote the article, there's always a point in the season discussing the Nebraska clunker, and turns into a short paragraph about how bad NE is.

Weber sounded like he was giving up, and his team played like it the next game. The Illini lost to Nebraska by 23 points, which is almost impossible. There were times this year when I didn't think Nebraska would score 23 points.
