I just wanted to say I love Bill Self, he's among the best coaches in college basketball, he develops big men better than anyone, and I wish he was still coaching Illinois.

I just want to say that it's really [expletive] weird for any Illinois fan to still love Bill Self when he coached there for 3 years, has been gone for 9, and his move to Kansas cost us several recruits through the years.

Everybody loves an underdog.

And we only have one 7 foot defensive stud. Not even sure who else you're talking about.

Oops. Thomas Robinson is 6'10". And the difference between 6'10" and 7'0" is enormous, right?

you're the first person I've heard describe Trob as a 7 foot defensive stud. He's probably 6'8"-6'9". And this year, we've done everything possible to protect him from playing D.

I'd argue that Crean's terrible coaching job last year made people(including myself) think Indiana was a lot worse than they actually were.

Under Crean, Indiana has improved from Pomeroy No. 212 to No. 183 to No. 75 to No. 10. Last year, when IU evidently so thoroughly underachieved, they had a roster with all of two (healthy) RSCI top-100 players: sophomores Christian Watford (No. 45) and Jordan Hulls (No. 74). Their second leading scorer was a player that you just claimed couldn't transfer to any better school than FIU. Their scholarship upper-classmen were Jeremiah Rivers (haha), the FIU player, Tom Pritchard (ha), and Matt Roth -- leading to a No. 285 ranking in experience. With that lack of talent and experience, IU played the twenty-sixth toughest schedule in the nation and in what was easily the toughest conference in the nation (.0332 ahead of second-place Big East).

But, I know, I know, IU smells like poop.

UCONN is being UCONN again.

Winning games they're favored to win?

We're they favored today?

It was a coin-flip game, though UConn was technically favored by 1. The coin landed on its side, so they had to flip again in an overtime period.
