The difference between Cutler and LT is that there was no Twitter back then so some drunk football NFL guy sitting on his couch couldn't pop off and have thousands pick it up immediately.

That plus Cutler, for whatever reason, is the kind of guy whose peers aren't going to hesitate to rip him if they the chance.

And all this testimony is important why?

Because the Chicago Bears still don't have a quarterback worthy of the defense, worthy of the special teams, worthy of the effort put forth by the team in almost every other area. And that's the reason the Packers are going back to the Super Bowl instead of the Bears, because Aaron Rodgers is all the things Cutler is not, from preparation to performance

Are you flipping high? Aaron Rodgers had a QB rating in the 50's yesterday and was fairly ineffective after the first quarter. How the hell is he the reason the Packers advanced past the Bears in the NFC title game, which is where Cutler led his team?

I'm guessing he's referring to more than just one game. Rodgers was one of the best QB's in the league this year and had two amazing playoff games before the NFC Championship game. With all the injuries they've had, he's a big reason why they're in the Super Bowl right now.

Well that makes no sense considering both Cutler and Rodgers brought their teams to the NFC Championship game.

I wonder if Cutler being a Vanderbilt guy affects the way he's perceived by both media and his peers. I always sensed a certain pretty boy college guy thinks he's better than us disgust from the media with regards to Prior. I don't know just seems if Cutler went to the U, he'd have more respect.

Yeah, because beating Philly and Atlanta on the road is the same as beating Seattle at home and because Cutler had an equally as impressive year as Aaron Rodgers.

This has nothing to do with your response. Both QBs got their teams just as far until Sunday. Then the Packers got farther. I don't know how you can interpret that as anything but he just knows how to win when it matters-ism.

You know, when he was walking off, I thought he looked like he was holding his arm like he was injured....

NFL Network’s Albert Breer reports that Collins suffered a “significant” shoulder injury in the game. Collins has an MRI Tuesday to determine if he needs surgery.

Now the timing for bringing in Hanie makes much, much more sense.

What the [expletive] were Pam Oliver and Chris Myers doing on Sunday?

Makes Lovie look dumber though....cuz that means he didn't pull Collins because he sucked...he pulled Collins cuz he had no choice.

We spend $20,000 a month on advertising with the Bears on WBBM during the season, and we have Bears players including Corey Wootten driving loaner vehicles, and here was a salesman openly undoing that work.

it's a NECKTIE you [expletive] meathead.

This looks like a meathead on meathead interaction. If my boss tells me to take off a tie, I'm taking it off the first time he asks. I certainly don't let him challenge me on it in front of customers/employees and still refuse. According to this, he was on the showroom floor when he was finally fired: http://mobile.chicagotribune.com/wap/news/text.jsp?sid=289&nid=36276841&cid=16273&scid=-1&ith=2&title=Latest+From+Breaking+News+Center

I just wish someone would ask them if they know how ridiculous they sound. Who could that person be...

His boss should be fired too.

FWIW, same thing happened with LaDanian Tomlinson last year in San Diego. I believe it may have been a similar injury. But he was taken out of the game. He didn't physically fight anyone to stay in. He stood on the sidelines while not getting treatment. And he didn't cheer with pom poms on the sidelines for his teammates.

Yet, LaDanian Tomlinson's heart was never questioned.

Edit: I guess it was his groin and it was 2008. But still, point remains the same.

You're wrong. LDT was ripped to shreds, especially nationally and especially because Phillip Rivers got knee surgery the day after so that he could play the next week. Of course Rivers threw 2 picks and was brutal in the AFC Championship.

They still hate him here. It's actually pretty amazing. Of course, these are the same people who hate the last coach (name escapes me this early in the am), who couldn't win a playoff game for them.

how the hell do they feel about Norv f-in Turner???

They don't have the hate/hate affection that we Bears have for him just yet, but they are coming around. It's probably more of a like/hate right now.

They still support the ownership of the Padres, so what else can you expect?
