Anybody know what happened to Chris Harris? He didn't play in the 4th quarter from what I saw.

Hip injury, wasn't it?

I heard the words "hip injury" but didn't know who it was about.

Posted
"My leg will have to be cut off for me to miss this game next week,'' he said.

hip pointer

Zach Zaidman quoted him as saying "There is no way in hell I am missing the Green Bay game."

The Seahawks defense wasn't too bad overall.

Wait, what? They allowed 5 TDs (all of which came on drives of 48 yards or more) to an offense many consider to be below average. Not to mention 45 rush yards and 2 rush TDs to a 240-pound QB. Seattle's defense was awful today.

Come on, everyone knows Cutler is one of the better (white) running QBs out there

I keep being told by the media that AARON RODGERS IS THE 2ND LEADING RUSHER AS A QB THIS SEASON BEHIND MICHAEL VICK.

Today marked a career-high in rushing yards by Cutler.

So what? He had 48ish yards before he took kneel downs, thats...a good amount of rushing yards for a freakin' qb, what do you expect?

There is no doubt Cutler is a very effective running quarterback, and he typically picks up 2-3 first downs with his feet a game.

I'm not saying he's going to put up 250-100 yards in passing-rushing per game, but he's quick enough to elude defenders and make a few plays a game with his feet. He's not stone footed like Grossman back there.

not that I'm saying the Seahawks had a chance in this one regardless, but Pete's gameplan was...interesting to say the least. He basically gave up on running after the first few drives, and though they were down, they really should have given their best player the ball more than 4 times, especially with the way Hasselbeck was throwing it and how the receivers dropped everything thrown to them.

They gouged the Bears badly in the first game by coming out and playing the hurry up, and it even worked when they busted it out in this one (the end of the first half they put together a bit of a drive, and of course, the end of the game) but they didn't use it for most of the game? Curious.

Seattle's defense was better than last week, holding the opponent to just 35 points.

Considering the Bears for the most part made their offense extremely conservative the entire 2nd half, that's pretty bad.

Sometimes it's ok to abandon the run. It clearly wasn't going to work yesterday. You can argue they could have run more, but all it would have done is just rest Hasselbeck's arm.

I really wonder why they didn't blitz more. I understand the 2nd half of the season they didn't really blitz as much, but they beat the Bears last time by blitzing DBs. I don't think they did that more than twice yesterday. At some point, they had to have nothing to lose and they needed to get some TOs by hitting Cutler making him fumble or making him get rid of the ball quickly, jumping routes, and getting some picks.

Awesome game. Next week is going to be epic.

I wish I knew whether the offensive line was really that good or if Seattle's pressure was really that bad for Cutler to have all that time to throw yesterday. You want to hope that the adjustments and practice have made them that much better than the start of the season, but I'll have to be cautiously optimistic that the line is continuing to improve.

I think it's just matchups + scheme. Seattle didn't work with the same scheme as last time, and the basic matchups didn't favor them like they figured it would.

I think it's pretty clear the Packers will be a much larger challenge for the Bears in terms of pass rush. But, at least they've got plenty of tape to review.
