This is gloriously embarrassing and should serve as a wake up call to anyone who thought this team was actually any good.

And this should also crown you drama queen of the forum.

Not sure if serious.

The defense got worked every time New England decided to try. I'm sure some of it is the snow hurting the pursuit aspect, but against good teams, they tend to bend and break.

Like they did vs Philly.....

One game against any team doesn't mean much...especially in these kind of conditions. The Bears are as good as any team in the league...well, maybe not the Pats...lol

But you're way overreacting to this game. This isn't a division, or even a conference game. The Packers loss was way more meaningful than this game is.

Look, the defense has proved, over the long haul that it's capable. This is unbelievable playing conditions. Everything is going the way of the Pats. I agree that if they run into this in the playoffs, it's going to be incredibly tough to win. However, it's tough to judge their performance over the whole season based off of this one game.

Who knows, maybe the score is the same or more lopsided under regular conditions. We won't know unless they meet in the Superbowl. These conditions are perfect for what the Pats want to do and very detrimental to what the Bears defense wants to do.

My apologies for the insult. Just a bit heated about this game.

It's not so much an overreaction. I've not thought much of this team most of the year. They've had a ton of breaks (and taken advantage of them) but they have so many flaws. Fans get ahead of themselves looking at the record and expecting dominance. This team isn't that good. The o-line can go from passable to traffic cone in an eyeblink, for example.

As Cowher mentioned at halftime, you can't get a pass rush in this mess and Brady is unstoppable if he isn't touched. The Bear offense relies on precision and this isn't a day for precision football.

In 2005 the Bears were playing great and went to Pittsburgh late in the season in the snow and got absolutely shellacked. I am not putting much stock in this game. With that said, I still think the Giants, Saints, and Falcons are slightly better than the Bears.

There's a big difference between the Patriots and Eagles. The cover-2 forced Vick and the Eagles away from their strengths. It plays to the Patriots' strengths. And the Patriots are better than the Eagles anyways.

I won't argue with you about the O-line...but they've gone from atrocious to just bad this season. That and some changes to the offensive philosophy have been enough to get the team going in the 2nd half. I don't think it's so much that the Bears are great, as much as the rest of the league isn't all that great either. Again...other than the Pats it seems.

i still don't know how you call the knox strip a fumble.

The initial call, I agree. I can't believe it wasn't called down by contact in real time. It was a fumble though.
