Indiana comes from behind and beats Purdue 34-31 in OT to win the Old Oaken Bucket and snap a 12-game Big 10 losing streak. IU won the coin flip for OT and elected to start on defense, then intercepted a pass to set up the game-winning field goal drive.

 

Bill Lynch still needs to be fired.

Danny Hope needs to be right behind him. What a pathetic season. If I was an athlete and wanted to win at football I wouldn't go anywhere near the state of Indiana.

So, Tennessee wins #26 in a row against Kentucky, extending the nation's longest streak against an opponent. (Florida has the nations #2 streak- 24- against Kentucky, as well.) In winning, Tennessee gets Bowl Eligible, and Tyler Bray becomes the all time leading passer as a frosh at UT.

 

The future looks good again in Knoxville. Oh, and with the Basketball team winning the NIT yesterday, it's been a great sports weekend at Tennessee.

Ark/LSU game is really weird so far. All sorts of stuff happening that shouldn't. I think there were like 4 fumbles and 2 missed field goals in the first several minutes.

LSU just gave up an 80-yard TD with no time left in the second quarter.

 

Nice defense.

 

And one LSU player just annihilated one of his teammates while they were trying to make a play.

Very entertaining game - what a play to end the half. Ryan Mallett has been money for me the last 2 years on my fantasy team.

The idiot safety tried to make the big hit instead of actually tackling the receiver. It amazes me that players still do that.

Is ND-USC on TV anywhere tonight? I'm unfortunately in Big 12 country so I think I'm getting OU-OSU instead on ABC.

 

Lucky you. I'm stuck with that piece of [expletive] game over the good game.
