WOOO!!

Still not scared of the Bears, erik and chuckywang?

I see erik is on fire tonight.

I'm perfectly calm. I'm not the one trying to make it personal, like a certain mod I happen to be responding to right now.

That's twice tonight. Continue to set a great example, o dear leader.

Is this your first day?

Enjoy your gift victory. The Bears were good tonight, but the Packers handed them that game.

The Bears didn't win. The Packers lost.

How bitter is that pill you're swallowing?

Just saying. The Packers handed you that game.

Seriously? The Packers hold on every play, the grab receivers. It gets called a few times, and you think they gave away the game.

Now who's bitter?

This is how bitter I am. :yahoo: :yahoo:

See, his Packer persona isn't that much different than his Cubs persona.

I agree the Packers and their lack of discipline aided the Bears in getting a victory tonight. But what does that say about the Packers, considering they've been pulling this stuff for 2 years now. Undisciplined teams like GB don't seem like SB contenders to me.

It's certainly something that needs to stop. And you're right, we won't accomplish anything until they quit making dumb penalties.

Oh, and the special team kick coverage couldn't stop my dead grandmother.

Peppers may not have got the sacks or numbers tonight, but he was a beast all night. Peppers by himself was the reason quite a few of those penalties were called.

This is true. Peppers was insane tonight. Dude was everywhere.

Dumb penalties is nothing new to a McCarthy coached team. I highly doubt its magically going to stop.

erik you should no better to go posting in a thread that is packed (packed....get it?) with Bears fans minutes after your team loses a really close and tough game. I'm not saying your not allowed to but it's not going to get you anywhere to post at a moment like this, just as I wouldnt go posting on gateway redbirds after a huge Cubs loss to St. Louis. I know this isn't an official Bears only thread, but 90% of the people posting are bears fans.

You're right. I don't take crap from people as a Packers fan, either.

did the bears try to give the packers the game too? a missed field goal, an interception in the endzone, a dropped touchdown on 4th down, etc.

it's just funny to whine about your team handing the bearsthe game with pealties when THAT'S WHAT YOUR TEAM DOES. the packers led the nfl in penalties last season and are again this year. that is your team.

I don't mind that I'm in the minority here. I understand I'm in "enemy territory" so to speak. Talk all the crap you want about the Packers. Pound your chests and enjoy your win tonight. I'm cool with that. I'd be doing the same thing had the result been different. Just don't make it personal is all I ask.

Really need to work on the checkdowns for next week. And design more pass plays for Forte. Cutler did not have a good game.

I've gone from not caring about the Peppers signing, to strongly considering picking up one of those '40s throwbacks of Peppers.

Yep. But the rest of the dline has to step up. There was little to no pressure up the middle or from the other side.

I'm encouraged that the Bears beat the Packers while Cutler had his worst game of the year, the pass defense was bad all night, and the rushing game was still non-existent. That bodes well for games where one of those things actually goes the other way.
