Why would the Cubs open on a Saturday?

And why is it obvious that Braves/Nats game was scheduled for a Strasburg outing?

Who's the one guy on here who's been jonesing for the Cubs to play in Kansas City?

I was, then I moved from Kansas to Seattle. :-(

This confuses me...

Seattle is gorgeous and Kansas is, well, Kansas.

Except, the Royals play in Missouri and not Kansas. Trust me, there's a HUGE difference. Besides, KC is a great town.

,

I can't think of any other reason (other than the opening of their park) that the Nats have been on ESPN, ever.

When you go over to April on your Windows Calendar, make sure you change the year to 2011 as well. The 1st is on a Friday lol.

Of course we get KC....and Boston and the Yankees. While St Louis gets Toronto, Baltimore and Tampa Bay in addition to the Royals twice.

I feel like those types of interleague series could possibly get a team excited during the middle of the season (they certainly get the fans excited). Definitely not easy though, 3-3 would be awesome.

Is Strasburg even going to be ready to pitch by opening day?

I must have missed where it said the game was on ESPN, but all I see is they are one of several opening day games. Whether or not they are ESPN is meaningless, it's opening day, any game is going to be pushed as big.

Yeah, ESPN does like 4 opening day games each year.

Why are you calling it the BP series?

At least you don't have the Brewers schedule. During a 15 game stretch the Brewers go..

@ Boston

vs. Tampa Bay

vs. Minnesota

@ New York Yankees

@ Minnesota

I've been to Seattle, and it is very nice (especially since I went during the dry season). Kansas, I'll just say I've never been and I plan to keep it that way.

Hey, now! Kansas has a bunch of ... cows.

Actually, Kansas City, KS is a pretty nice city. But yeah, don't leave KC. Not a whole lot to do in Wichita or Topeka.
