Raiders 49, Titans 0

DHB 18 catches (doubling his output for all of last year), 289 yards, 4 TDs

Chris Johnson 20 carries, -20 yards.

Go Raiders (please win more than five games this year)!

You may well be right soccer. I'm not predicting anything for this Titans team until I see them for a couple of weeks. I have no idea what they're going to do this year - except that CJ is going to be ridiculously good.

Just don't let CJ get 350+ carries. You've got Ringer and Blount, make good use of them.

Vikings trade Sage Rosenfels to the Giants for future conditional draft picks even though he looked 8,000x better than Tarvaris this preseason.

The back up QB behind Favre doesn't matter much. They'll probably need to worry about the QB next year but I'm sure they could find someone better then Sage or Jackson anyways.

As much as it is said every year. Actually the back up for Favre could matter this year.

I hope so. I've felt Tarvaris is a little better than most give him credit for but he's had the worst preseason of his career. Not just the numbers, he's looked atrocious. Everyone said he looked far better in training camp but he was awful in game situations. TJack is Chilly's guy and he was dead set on him being the #2 regardless of what happened this preseason.

I don't like to root for injuries but I kind of hope so.

Josh McDaniels is out of control. The personnel moves since he arrived are just baffling. Give up a 1st round pick the next year so you can trade into the 2nd round for a CB and then cut him the next year. Nice. Cut a DE whom you gave $3.3M to not even play a regular season down. Cut your 4th round G from last year who was the starter in the spring and outperformed the 6th round guy you kept this year. Cut the TE who was supposed to be Scheffler's replacement.

The list goes on and on. The Denver Post calls the collection of moves bizarre and shocking. The guy is a total disaster in every way and Pat Bolen is the only one who can't see it.

I think he is trying to act like Belichick without Belichick's mind for football and without the foundation of players he has. Belichick thinks that his system will make pretty much anyone good (but it didn't work like he wanted it to last year). But McDaniels isn't smart enough to do that. You just can't get rid of Cutler (who is much better than Cassel) and Marshall and think that your way of running a football team is going make up for those guys. That's in addition to the recent moves.

http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2010/09/report_jets_revis_reach_new_deal.html

ESPN is reporting that the Jets and Revis have come to agreement on a new contract -- seven years at $46 million with $32 million guaranteed. But apparently it can be voided after four years, so it's essentially a four-year, $32 million deal, according to the report.

32 mil guaranteed....holy isht
