I guess this is the lineup

Colvin, LF

Fontenot, 2B

Lee, 1B

Ramirez, 3B

Byrd, CF

Fukudome RF

Castro, SS

Hill, C

Dempster, P

whatever

I must has missed something but, why the F**K!!!!!!!! does Lou keep playing Hill? Team having trouble scoring runs -check. You have a catcher who can actually hit - check. Play the one who can't hit - ahhhh, check?

Unless I missed it, I wish some reporter would get the balls to ask Lou this question.

Haha question Lou? Nobody in the Chicago media has the balls to question Lou on anything they are all terrified of him. The media that cover the Cubs give Lou a free pass.

No, they'll ask him but he'll get all flustered and throw up his hands and say, "What can I do!?" Then they'll back off.

Play the guy who can hit numbnuts.

LOOK SIR!! I'm trying to win games here!!! If we're not gonna score the runs then we have to stop them from scoring!! I have 2 good catchers back there and I'm gonna play them both. Yesterday Soto played, today Hill. And and and and and and and what you want is what? You want Soto out there everyday? Hill's a tough kid and and and and he ran out there for what 20 games in a row last year, and you want him tied to the end of the bench???? I'll tell you, I'll tell you what. When you have your team, you can play one catcher every inning of every game, but I'm not gonna do that!

Lou says the Cubs must relax their minds.

Good to know, Lou.

Oh, and less is better. So that's why he's playing Hill.

Lou is such a clown. Hard to take him seriously, when he keeps playing the severely inferior player over your best catcher. Oh well, 3 more months and that clown is gone.

Maybe the club has decided to get Hill more AB's because the intention is to allow Soto to move to 1B next year prior to signing the Hefty Lefty in 2012.

Cubs are dumb enough that they'll probably extend Lee to a 4 year deal for $50M.

New slogan to replace Year One: "The 2010 Chicago Cubs...There's no scoring opportunity that we can't find some way to waste!"

How about....once the opponent scores the game is essentially over!

Why would they move Soto to 1B when they already have Colvin?

Soto will be backing up Colvin, who will be backing up Soriano, who will be backing up Big Z at 1B next year.

Just saw Colvin's OPS the last month .257/.276/.500 , and the last two weeks .171/.171/.317

I'm not sure they have to let him play every day.

Based on the typical Cub logic, they won't. They'll stick him on the bench immediately based on 30 AB's, while Lee, Ramirez and Hill continue to rack up AB's even though none of them have hit for 3 months.

But if you grade on a curve with the rest of the Cubs it doesn't look that bad!
