Last year, he had one putrid (to be kind) start against you guys where he gave up 10 runs and didn't record an out in the second inning. Other that that, he had a high 3 ERA.

This year, all of his starts are like the one he had against you guys, so perhaps today he's going to go the distance with a shutout.

He's allowed 31.9% LD percentage so far and 35% of his fly balls given up have been for home runs (which translates to teams batting .384 off of him and him giving up 3.26 HR/9 so far). His K/BB ratio is actually pretty decent but he's still getting pounded.

Soto sitting is so [expletive] stupid. They just had an off day on Monday, he's likely to not start this Sunday since it's a noon game after a 6 PM game the night before, then probably the same deal next Wedensday AND an off day on Thursday. There's plenty of opportunities coming up in the next 10 days to sit Soto where it makes sense, so why do it tonight? Do they really think he can't handle 5 days of starting in a row with 3 days on the bench or off in the week to follow?

8 in PA

1 in OBP

2 in SLG

1 in OPS

1 in BB

He's presently 2 PA ahead of Gregg Zaun, who has a .709 OPS and can't throw a ball 60 feet.

He needs to start more. He needs to move up in the [expletive] lineup.
