Relax guys we're facing Charlie Morton. Scoring runs is as close to inevitable as you can get.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. This is the Cubs, the same team that makes loser starting pitchers look like gods.

My point is that conceding the game after the opponent scores one run in the first inning is silly.

The game isn't over, but to think the Cubs would destroy Morton is laughable. This team lives to suck against horrible starting pitching.

We got him for 10 runs in 1 IP last August, and this year he is 0-5 with an ERA over 10. Even the Cubs offense at its worst should be able to squeeze out a few runs.

I live by this philosophy: Always keep three little words in the back of your mind... They're the Cubs.

this is not me saying that we'll lose the game, this is me saying that I won't at all be shocked if they do.

No hits through 3IP for Morton. Got to love the approach by the Cubs. Don't worry, Charlie. The Cubs are the perfect remedy to your bush league ERA.

So Byrd looks ok? Man, I hope he's healed up. He's been a big part of our offense so far, I'd hate to lose him for any extended period.

With that pathetic strikeout, Hill now has 5 fewer Ks (7) than Soto (12) in 52 fewer PAs.

For the love of God, shut up.

I take it Lilly walked and Riot hit into a DP?

Close. Lilly was HBP and the riot swung at the first pitch and grounded into a force out.

No, Lilly was hit by a pitch with 2 outs and Theriot grounded out.

Another leadoff double for the Pirates. Nice

Hey Lou and Hendry, next time keep the pitcher in the minor leagues for 3 or 4 starts before you bring him back and place your opening day starter in the bullpen.

That's absurd. What next, play Soto everyday and not bat him 8th?
