Theriot has a higher pitches/PA than Byrd (just pointing out a surprising fact)

It is not that surprising because Theriot has been having good at bats for a couple of weeks while Byrd is a very aggressive hitter. That is why I am surprised at Theriot's approach tonight.

 

Ryan Church is the latest example to Lou that left handed hitters can be put in the line-up against left handed starting pitchers.

I'll stop, but if you warn me, I think a warning should be issued to all the other people (some mods included) who use "flippant one-liners" like "fantastic", "here we go" or "typical Cobs" that also add to the "thoughtless nonsense" in the Game Threads.
