I sure do hope and pray Salmons does to Milwaukee what he did to the Bulls in year 2.

I want to point and laugh.

I'm not even gonna pay attention to this crap until LeBron signs. I'm not getting my hopes up at all.

That's where you're wrong. These scrubs getting signed to Ostertag-esque contracts is by far the best part of the NBA offseason.

True, I should say I'm not following the hype of the big 3. I can't wait for someone to give Boozer big money and then be pissed when he quits playing hard and is hurt for most of the deal.

Knicks guard Allan Houston said D'Antoni made a strong presentation but couldn't tell if James was impressed.

"He didn't give us much feedback," Houston said.

That can't be a good sign if you are associated with the Knicks. I understand James isn't going to tip his hand on what his decision is, but the fact that James seems to be pretty much a robot during the Knicks presentation, is not a good sign.

Then again you view every thing through the "my team is best and things will work out exactly the way I want" prism. I think if you and sulley ran into each other the universe would explode.

He has been a robot this whole offseason no matter who has has talked to.

What would LeBron get on the open market? 40 million?

I think New York would easily pay 50 million for LeBron if they could.

Hadnt seen this posted here but according to a poster on RealGm Sam Smith was on ESPN 1000 and said if Bosh wants to sign with the Bulls they will send Taj, 15mill TPE, and 3 1st rounders to Toronto for Bosh. Wow, but then again if they get Lebron also, those picks will be in the last 3-5 picks all 3 years so not that big of deal really.

I still don't know what a "TPE" is. It sounds like something you can fabricate out of thin air to sweeten trade offers. And more importantly, does that deal allow us two max guys?

So LeBron met with New York today, Miami and New Jersey tomorrow, and the Bulls and Cavs Saturday (or Sunday). I wonder if this is is ranked in order of how much he wants to play for a each team.

Yes cause Taj's money is now off the books.

James met with both Knicks and Nets today, and will met with the Clippers and Heat tomorrow. And no.

Few observations about current rumors:

1) Joe Johnson and Rudy freaking Gay offered max deals by their respective teams:

my 2 cents- Good luck to them. I'm sure their teams will be loving giving those guys the same money as, if not more money than, LeBron James for the next 5 or so years. Memphis and Atlanta will be contending for rings real soon, I'm sure.

2) Bosh reportedly wants a sign and trade for the max, while the Cavs will not entertain signing and trading LeBron:

My 2 cents-

So unless LeBron gets paid less than Bosh, or Bosh joins LeBron in Cleveland, LeBron would have to settle for LESS money to play on the same team as Bosh. Sorry, not happening. On principle alone, no way LeBron agrees to that.

If the Bulls get LeBron, then I'll be thrilled, even if they sign no one else. However, they may have to settle for Boozer or David Lee the way things are looking. And it seems as if LeBron and Bosh looks like a pipe dream according to current rumors. Which of course could easily be wrong.

I take my comment back. If the Bulls got rid of Gibson's salary, they are still $377,000 short to get LeBron and Bosh. Johnson and Gibson would both have to go. I would kind of like to keep Gibson.

Yeah I still don't see the math working out for Bosh by getting rid of Taj/JJ and picks. It's Deng or Noah and if it's Noah I'd rather just keep everybody, sign Boozer or Lee for around 13 million, and get Lebron at the max. Or if Lebron goes elsewhere getting some other pieces with the money.

The only way I'd S&T Noah for Bosh is if I knew Lebron was coming.
