If the Bulls traded Gibson, Johnson and next year's first in a sign and trade for Bosh, that would still give them enough cap space for LeBron, right?

That's what I thought. We need some verification.

I don't see any scenario where Bosh, Lebron, or Wade sign for under max.

And the Bulls CANNOT get 2 maxes without moving Deng. (Or Noah or Rose) Dumping the rookies won't get it done.

I'm not sure if they can combine enough contracts to get 2 maxes without Deng. But they could (in theory) trade Deng somewhere other than Toronto.

Again, I think it's all moot. I think Bosh ends up in Miami with Wade. But I suppose it's something they might want/need to do to include a 2nd tier FA with James (Boozer or whatever).

The Bulls have a meeting with Lebron on Sat. Do you think it's better that they're the last team to meet with him?

I'd rather be last than first.

In sales you want to be last if possible. Second best choice is first. If you're in the middle you almost never get the deal in a fair competition.

Hooray for being last, then.

Well, this isn't really a fair competition though, right? I mean there's a lot of other determining factors outside of sales pitch. Coaches, supporting cast, other free agents, city, etc....

It's not like all the sales pitches are trying to sell him the same toaster.

Wasn't trying to comment on the specific case - only the general question.

And sales is almost never a fair competition.

Ok...just clarifying.
