Ok, maybe coming home to Wrigley is what we need. I have confidence that Demp will pitch well. It's the offense and bullpen I'm worried about.

Doug Davis owns us. 2 runs or fewer off him is pretty much a lock. Maybe we can rally against their middle relief.

Davis has a 3.20 ERA in 16 starts against the Cubs with a sub 1.2 WHIP and almost a strikeout per inning.

 

So yeah he owns us.

It's certainly not traditional "travel" from Milwaukee to Chicago, but Cubs have to have a slight advantage with the Brewers playing on Sunday night baseball and traveling to a day game tomorrow.

So I noticed Jeff Gray has 3IP at Iowa so far this year (meaning he's over his injury), how long until he gets called up? As he seemed like a pretty solid lock to make the bullpen out of ST before the injury.

Our offense will maybe score 2-3 runs, and if Braun and Fielder come up against any Cubs reliever whose last name doesnt start with M, were in trouble. Demp better bring his A++ game or we have no chance.

 

Oh yeah, and give Colvin another start. The way I see it, they're paying the same amount of money whether the guy making 20 mil or the guy making league min are playing, so we may as well go with the guy who isnt a complete liability.
