When you're winning big and your coach is a nutjob, they just do an impression for ESPN and everyone laughs about it. If you're losing and your coach is a nutjob, players leave, things crumble and recruits get scared away.

Must win game for Illinois tonight against Penn State. The Illini are 8 pt favorites which I think is too much considering: how well Penn State has played lately, Weber's struggles against PSU, and that the storm might decrease the size of the crowd and thus, negatively impact Illinois' homecourt advantage. Keys to this game are: getting out to a fast start, limiting the damage to Battle and Brooks, and McCamey playing better. He needs to get his shot going to give him confidence early. DJ too.

 

If Illinois loses this they very well could be 14-9 after Saturday. That's a disturbing thought.

I agree. Badger Ball sucks, but not quite as much as Weber ball.
