DAMMIT Texas. Do the other Big 12 teams not want to ever win the conference?

 

That game isnt over. Even if they lose, they'll still win the conference. I don't see another loss for them. Maybe @ Baylor. And we still have to win @ Mizzou. As lost as we looked in the hostile environment @ KSU, it's hard to believe we'll win at Paige Arena.

No, I'm pretty sure they named the stadium after Paige Laurie, extremely wealthy Wal-Mart heiress and Mizzou graduate.

He's definitely going to KU now.

 

 

I don't think he'll be eligible to play anywhere. I doubt there's even enough KU pixie dust to make that happen.

If one of those 2 last second 3's against Illinois would have went in, Michigan would be firmly on the bubble at 18-10 and 8-7 in the Big Ten

I was just kinda waiting to be let down with him a la Releford, so I'm not too bummed to hear that. How would him not playing HS ball make him ineligible though? Did he get kicked off for grades or also get kicked out of school? Hopefully they can still find someone, I'm half convinced they need the next Tiller more than they need an offensive dynamo right now anyway, so maybe it'll work out.

Since when was graduating high school a requirement to play at Kansas?

Because from what I understand, a big part of the attraction to Oak Hill was getting his academics in order. The school he went to in St. Louis was closed, iirc, and there was talk that simply another public school wouldn't give provide him the guidance, etc. needed to get his academics in order.

 

I could be totally wrong. The eligibility thing was my own personal conjecture.

 

ETA: now the story is he left Oak Hill, not that he was kicked off. So that's something.

What an ugly game. So, so many missed layups/chippies. And Leonard need to be conditioned to throw it down whenever he gets the ball right around the basket. He's too athletic and powerful to try and be so cute in the paint. Someone needs to remind him he's not Mike Tisdale.
