Yeah, I don't see us losing a home game this year. But, on the road, you can't turn the ball over. A lot of Illinois' turnovers were unforced and that's where the game was lost. Maybe Illinois' guards will finally learn (I doubt it, though) the benefits of attacking the basket after watching Battle tonight.

I [expletive] hate Penn St. 2006 was one of the worst nights ever. This almost compares. [expletive] that school. I can't believe there's another [expletive] Battle either.

I don't think you will have to worry about Buie much...

Rich McBride 3 that was waved off? I was there.

I don't think McGamey is as assertive as he should be sometimes. In the last minute or so he was pushing the ball on a 2-2 and then on a 3-2 break and both times he backed it out.

Last 11 matchups and Penn State is 6 and 5 vs us. Why does Ed Dechillis own Bruce Weber?

He plays a very active zone defense that doesn't let you chuck up 25 threes a game. He makes you beat him inside, and his zone does a decent job of collapsing on interior players

Because Illinois has had guys who either couldn't shoot or are as stupid as they come on a basketball court.

Yep. That's the thing that stuck out at me last night. He was way too passive when they needed him most.

With the talent difference that shouldn't matter.

Not a good game from Dmac, but the underclassmen were terrible. Richmond, Richardson, Paul, Griffey all forgot to show up. Battle could rest on defense guarding DJ when they were in man. I'm done getting mad at Davis, just accept him quietly getting boards and no offense.

I only saw the first half, but I thought Brandon Paul brought it on defense.
