I don't really know. I do know he's out of his mind and nobody seems to think it is important to at least follow up on some of the details.

THAT is ridiculous.

I really think you should stop obsessing over Milton Bradley.

Whatever. You first.

I'm not obsessing, I'm wishing him the best in his future endeavors, hopeful he can get past his upsetting season in Chicago, and move on to live a happy productive life.

You're wishing him dead.

Now look who is being ridiculous.

Soul didn't write that.

Fixed it. I dont want you to have to go through the agony of having kind words about Bradley incorrectly attributed to you.

Jim Hendry is terrible at his job.

Milton Bradley is a pud of unbelievable proportions.

The quality of Jim Hendry's performance as GM should have no bearing on one's opinion of Milton Bradley as a public figure. In fact, Hendry has been fairly upfront about his failures as GM over the past year, stating categorically that the Bradley signing was a mistake.

Simply because Jim Hendry is a bad general manager does not make me side with Milton Bradley in any way, shape or form in his criticism of the Cubs. Hendry's comments about Bradley are the 1 in a million times I agree with Hendry about anything.

Bradley needs to just stop talking and the media needs to stop feeding the situation.

jim hendry could also help things out by shutting the [expletive] up. why can't he say "the milton bradley chapter is closed and he's no longer a member of the organization; i don't see any reason to respond to his latest charges."

This. I'm sick and damn tired of hearing Hendry blab. Of course, he has a vested interest - the more he pisses and moans about Bradley, the less attention gets put on his underachieving, overpaid team.

Milton Bradley is the new Carl Everett. A mindnumbling canucklehead who really should keep his mouth shut unless something intelligent can come out of it. There's a reason why Bradley is on his 9th team in his career.

Not to defend Hendry the GM, but I think he has to respond to some the question re: Bradley, especially when Bradley is dissing the cubs in the news right now.

"We're going to put that behind us today once and for all," Hendry said. "That's why I'm saying what I'm saying for the organization, our players and our staff. We hold our heads highly. [bringing Bradley to Chicago] was obviously something that didn't work out. But there was a total 100 percent outstanding effort to make it work and to deflect that on anybody in our organization is just wrong."

I dont think those comments are innapropriate, or a calculated attempt at deflecting criticism for his own failures.

I still think Milton Bradley is a badass

Badasses don't get hurt by having an old man hold them.

Bradley probably made up that the umpire incited him anyway. HE BROKE MY HEART AND SAID HE WANTED TO BE A CUB FOREVER

Jim Hendry is an idiot

Milton Bradley is a miserable person

By the way, I believe I sent Jim Hendry hate mail for being a subpar at best GM but i do not hear him crying to the media.

I hate Milton Bradley and Jim Hendry. But, I probably won't waste the stamp. Does anyone have their email address?

This is stupid.

Hendry is bad at his job, but, from what everyone in baseball says, seems to be a decent guy. And pretty much a simpleton. One of his biggest failures is that he bends over backwards to accomodate players who don't deserve it.

There's no way he thought about his response as a way to deflect attention from his team. Furthermore, his response didn't deflect attention from his terrible job when you consider that he said "Obviously, it was a one-year situation that I brought him in here to try and help us from the left side. Obviously it was a mistake..."

It is more than enough to criticize him for doing a terrible job as Cubs GM. But carrying over your feelings about his job performance to his personality is utterly ridiculous.

Seriously, who sends hate mail to a baseball player?

I don't know, but I'm assuming that each piece of mail looks similar to those ransom notes where they cut out letters from different magazine articles that tv movies have made so famous over the years.

Let's go to Jim Hendry's house and ask him if he would like for us to unload all of his old magazines for him. And then we can look and see if there are letters cut out of the articles.

You can't scapegoat one player for an entire season if you don't admit he was a bad signing.

Watch out for the black helicopters, man. They're out to get you.

I think I'll draft Milton Bradley for my fantasy team and then sit him on the bench all year and never let him into a game.

I didn't say Hendry wasn't necessarily a good guy. But it would be very easy for him to simply say he is done talking about Milton Bradley as he is not relevant to the current Cubs team anymore and that he wouldn't answer any further questions about it. And he's not only not doing it, he's keeping Bradley in the headlines by responding to every mindless accusation Bradley is throwing at him.

Milton can't help that he's insane. Hendry can help whether he talks about it.

I just watched the ESPN interview, and he says:

"I had never gotten any hate mail...I got it LA, I got it in Oakland, and I got it in Chicago, never anywhere else"

Hes just a really really weird guy. Kinda reminds me of Artest but less violent outbreaks and less talent. For both of them, they constantly say or do the wrong things but still seem like nice guys.
