Who can blame Bradford though? I can't imagine what was going through his head when people(Mormons, no less) were chasing him all over the place for the first time, he probably thought there was some rule change and gave himself a do-over on declaring pro.

the problem was the gameplan. leading up to the byu game, all he heard was how similar the cougars' defense was to missouri's, and he expected to sail through it.

if he had expected a real football team, it would have gone differently.

Apparently the Raiders are the leading candidate to trade for Donovan McNabb.

I can't wait to see Donovan's response to possibly being dealt to Oakland, a destination he clearly does not hold in high regard.

I actually think the Raiders can be pretty good with McNabb. They have nice talent at RB and WR with a solid enough offensive line. Coupled with a strong defense, McNabb could push them at least close to .500, if not better.

Again, McNabb has said he does not want to go to Oakland.

The Steelers are having a bit of a Cincinnati offseason.

Big Ben and now Santonio Holmes with the nightclub assault on a woman.

Steelers WR Santonio Holmes has been sued in civil court by a woman who alleged he threw a glass full of liquor at her earlier this month.

Court House News reported the suit, in which Anshonoe Mills alleged that Holmes ordered her to "get up" off a couch inside the VIP section of the Rain Night Club in Orlando on March 7. The suit alleged that Holmes and Mills tussled over placement on the couch, with Holmes claiming he had been there before her.

In the suit, Mills alleged that Holmes threw a glass filled with liquor into her face that cut her.

The suit also alleged that Holmes and members of the Orlando police department pressured Mills not to press charges because of his standing as an NFL player. Holmes, the MVP of Super Bowl XLIII, offered money to Mills, the suit said.

They're building police records because they want to be attractive to the Bengals when they become free agents. :D

I know. I'm just saying I think they'd be pretty good if they acquired him.

Agreed.

Really, because you just said you could see him pushing them close to .500. That's not pretty good. McNabb has spent his entire career in contention with the Eagles. I cannot see him happily going to the Raiders to potentially turn them into a .500 team.

I think the Raiders could be better than .500 w/ McNabb. That would likely make them better than Denver (especially if they trade Marshall) and KC, who they would play 4 times. Could win 3 of those games. Plus they play the NFC West. Of course, the 3rd place schedule doesn't look so great with Tenn, Pit, and Miami all being pretty good 3rd place teams that should be improved next year.

I worded that poorly. That was a low end estimation for them. I'm think 7-8 wins as a minimum with 9-10 a possibility (depending on how some other AFC teams improve). Basically a borderline playoff team with McNabb.

Apparently Holmes is getting into it with fans on twitter now....

Holmes accuses the fan of trying to make Holmes look like the bad guy, and then says that the fan "shud try finding the worst thing that you could drink n kill urself."

Nice. I'd suggest not making violent statements like this when you're under scrutiny for a violent crime.

picking a side in that battle is like trying to decide whether to cheer for the Yankees or Red Sox in a playoff series.

Cowboys cut Flozell Adams and Ken Hamlin.

The move would seem to clear the path for Doug Free, a former fourth-round pick from Northern Illinois who filled in at both left and right tackle last season.

Well thats 10+ less false start penalties for the Cowboys this next season.

Truly running back by committee I guess.
