Rooting for (in order)

Don't care (hoping for million points), don't care, Dallas and San Diego.

I'm so pumped for the Cowboys game. If they win, there's a good chance I'll be able to go to the NFC championship game whether they host it or it's in New Orleans.

They might be favored too.

Anyone else see Steve Breaston do Razor Ramon's bad guy dance?

I was trying to think where I knew that from.

The bookies really don't like the Jets.

Since I went 0-4 this weekend, I feel it my duty to make my picks early this week so that you can bet on the other teams.

New Orleans 34

Arizona 31

Indianapolis 20

Baltimore 17

Dallas 30

Minnesota 24

San Diego 26

New York 13

BTW, I'm not as anti-Minnesota's chances as it seems. I just can't have all 4 home teams winning this week and I like the Dallas/Minny game to be that one. Minny in the dome is tough but so is Dallas over the last month.

Hah, well, I went 0-4 this week. Lets see if I can do better this time around. I'll go:

New Orleans over Arizona

Indy over Baltimore

Vikings over Cowboys

Chargers over Jets

I thought he was saying they might be favored in the championship game if they make it.

The Cardinals put up 51 points against a good defense, and with Boldin possibly coming back and the Saints not playing good football for a month now, I like the Cardinals. I also hope I'm wrong about the Vikings winning.

Kurt Warner career playoff stats:

Games: 12

Completions: 300

Attempts: 436

Completion %: 68.8

Yards: 3747

Yards/Attempt: 8.59

TDs: 31

INTs: 13

Rating: 106.51

So he's basically on pace to have a 5000 yard, 40 TD season against playoff teams. Not bad.

^^ One of the most fascinating careers in NFL history. To think the Bears could have had him at one point before he was rejuvenated in Arizona.

These games really look they could make a fun weekend - except Jets/SD, which should by all rights be a total blowout.

Flacco will have to do much more to beat the Colts than he did to beat NE, though.

I think it was on SportsCenter they showed career playoff TD passes and Warner was either fourth or fifth all time except the guys ahead of him had played at least five more games than he did and the top two guys were in the low 20's.

Colts

Chargers (blowout of the weekend)

Cowboys

Saints (most entertaining game of the weekend)

That's what happens when you insist on making a proven NFL QB compete with a bunch of no-names.

The proven NFL QB says, "thanks but no thanks" and goes on to blow up the league.

Yet another one of Angelo's brilliant moves.

I'm nervous about the Cowboys Vikings game, but I think our defense can hold them to under 23 points. We held the Saints to 17, the Eagles to 0 and 14, and the Chargers to 20. Unless they pick up an easy score or two from turn-overs, I think our defense will hold them in check.

That being said, it's going to be imperative that our offense move the ball on drives and keep the Vikings offense off the field. Also, the Cowboys cannot kill drives with silly penalties or leave points on the field. I'm picking it Cowboys 24, Vikings 17...but I'm very nervous.

well the ravens are looking like the trendy pick, which means they probably will lose.

The Ravens are a solid team, but most of the blowout yesterday was the Patriot implosion more than the awesomeness of the Ravens.
