Texas is so overrated. It should be Cincinnati vs Alabama.

I agree that Cincy has the better resume, but I think TCU is the better team and would make for a better opponent for Alabama.

Every game today was [expletive] awesome. Except the Florida/Alabama game which was awesome because we got to see Tebow cry and Urban throw a fit.

Now put Iowa in the BCS and we'll call it a weekend.

Q: Is it frustrating to you Pete Carroll, for example, portrayed in one way…

CW: Let me ask you this question: You guys know about things that go on in different places. Was I living with a grad student in Malibu, or was I living with my wife in my house? You could bet that if I were living with a grad student here in South Bend, it would be national news. He’s doing it in Malibu and it’s not national news. What’s the difference? I don’t understand. Why is it okay for one guy to do things like that, but for me, I’m scrutinized when I swear. I’m sorry for swearing; absolve my sins.

Ndamukong Suh is a man-beast with no rivals. It's too bad that don't allow "defensive" players to win the Heisman, cause Suh has a great case for the award.

They did one year . . . .

I've seen plenty of late game situations where extra seconds tick away, including the final second. And I have never seen that reviewed once.

It happened in the UM/ND game this year and they didn't bother reviewing it.

It happens all the time in NFL/NCAAF at the end of games when teams kick field goals too. The guys who run the clocks are usually very liberal with the time at the end of games, 99.9% it's not even realized/known and the game simply ends without question.

It's probably a good thing for all involved that both teams ended up being horrible so that arguments about the officiating and replay calls in that game didn't persist. That game still bugs me.

Yeah they did. :)

Even if it's only in my mind, Peyton won that award.

Yeah and before Woodson, it happen with Ernie Davis in 1961, and even then he was a two way player, and not a straight up a defensive player.

Nonetheless, Suh should be in NY.

Probably, but the momentum was all for Woodson that year. And you have to admit, what he did on the defensive end that year was unparalleled. I was still pretty shocked when he won it though. Peyton looked the most shocked, almost paralyzed.

This is still the best interception I've ever seen. Woodson wasn't just a defensive player though. He had some amazing plays on offense, as well as returning punts. One of the best college players ever.
