OK State? Surely not. Sheesh, I know it's a rather week year, but they've done next to nothing. Their "big" win is Georgia, who stinks. Their next best win is, I guess, Missouri. They were throttled by Texas. This is not a BCS team.

Agreed. But they are in the top 14 of the BCS and the Fiesta could feel some pressure to take a Big 12 replacement for Texas since they have the Big 12 tie-in.

If it were about who "deserved" it more, no one would even be considering PSU over Iowa.

And Kansas wouldn't have been picked over Missouri a couple years ago.

Yes, everyone understands the most deserving teams don't always go. That's not exactly a revelation.

At least Kansas won that BCS game.

I also think the fact that Oklahoma State has never sold out a game... ever will play into the thinking of the bowl selection committees.

this is hyperbole...right?

from wikipedia:

The stadium's official capacity is 60,612; however, they have yet to sell out Boone Pickens Stadium since the recent renovations due to the fact that several suites and club seats have not been sold.

that's pretty embarrassing.

Matt Millen is loving a terrible helmet-to-helmet hit. what a meatball

That doesn't surprise me, although I didn't see the play.

On a kick return the Ohio State defender led with his helmet and hit the Michigan player in the helmet going full speed. Both players were slow getting up. Millen said something like "now that's just good football."

Tate Forcier looking like Cutler today. 4 interceptions to go along with a fumble in the end zone that resulted in a OSU touchdown.

So is Weis gone for sure then? NBC's halftime interview surely makes it seem like he's gone.

I would think the money he's owed will play a part, but I'm sure some alum will kick in most of it. I think if he wins the last 2 games and a bowl it would be tough to get rid of him. Plus, if Clausen, Floyd, and Tate all come back if he stays, then they'd be dumb to let him go.

No, they wouldn't. Weis had Clausen, Floyd and Tate this year and he's going to go 6-6.
