Stupid Pistons. They won 4 of their last 6 meaning they're 6/7 in odds for the lottery including last night when they were down 11 in the 4th. 1 fewer win and they're tied for 4/5/6. Just go 2-4 to close the year and they're tied for 3rd. Now watch us end up with Ed [expletive] Davis.

I'm just hoping for a Yao Ming like miracle with the Rockets in the lottery.

Aaron Brooks named Most Improved Player as he should have been. I knew he had set the franchise record for 3's made I didn't know this tidbit though ... He is the sixth player in history to make 200 3's and have 400 assists in the same season. Not a huge thing but still impressive.

saw this in bill simmons' mailbag and it made me laugh:

Q: For my 24th birthday, my roommates bet me I couldn't take 24 shots. They were right and I only made it 6 shots before I blew chunks. Thankfully, my roommate is a Lakers fan and he still named me MVP of my birthday.

The Pacers 2nd round pick Lance Stephenson aka Born Ready got arrested for throwing his girlfriend down some stairs. Nice. :good: I knew the Pacers had went far too long between off court incidents. :P

Lebron's GQ interview:

James said he doesn't think Gilbert, who bashed James in a letter immediately after he announced his decision to sign with the Miami Heat, ever cared about him.

"My mother always told me: 'You will see the light of people when they hit adversity. You'll get a good sense of their character.' Me and my family have seen the character of that man," James said.

James also touched on growing up in Akron and hating Cleveland as a kid. According to ESPN, James told GQ, "Clevelanders, because they were the bigger-city kids when we were growing up, looked down on us. So we didn't actually like Cleveland. We hated Cleveland growing up. There's a lot of people in Cleveland we still hate to this day."

...the new member of the Heat said he isn't ruling out playing for the Cavaliers again. "If there was an opportunity for me to return and those fans welcome me back, that'd be a great story."

So he hates Gilbert, but maybe he'll play for him again? What a bunch of BS.

You missed the two best quotes

“I don’t think he ever cared about LeBron. My mother always told me: ‘You will see the light of people when they hit adversity. You’ll get a good sense of their character.’ Me and my family have seen the character of that man.”

"I love our fans. Cleveland fans are awesome," he told GQ. "But I mean, even my family gets spoiled at times watching me doing things that I do, on and off the court."

I saw the first quote earlier but the second one is just hilarious.

Hopefully Haslem is just the first member of the Heat to end up in prison or injured. Someone needs to create a special task force to monitor all of their activities.
